Decades have passed and the legacy of Onkyo endures. Over the past decade, Onkyo has expanded its core of music-oriented products to become one of the most respected names in av receivers and home theater systems.

Today, 11 Trading Company serves as the U.S. distribution arm for Onkyo AV Receivers, HiFi equipment, mini-systems, smart speakers, turntables, sound bars, home theater systems, and optical disc players. 

Onkyo is here for the long haul.

HOW IT STARTED

April 1946: Osaka, Japan – Takeshi Godai wanted to create a high-quality, Japanese-crafted loudspeaker. He founded Onkyo, which means “sound acoustics” in Japanese, to bring his vision of sound perfection to life.

A month later, Onkyo released its first product – a cartridge pickup for record players. The company took the profits from that initial offering and invested in speaker research and infrastructure to build a factory. Production would go on to begin at the new factory in January 1948. In defiance of convention, Onkyo developed an in-house production method for its own paper cones—and in so doing, formed the origin of the Onkyo sound story.

Bueno este viernes me comunique al centro de servicio onkyo la persona que me atendió no sabe o solo quiere sacar dinero y hacer perder el tiempo a las personas los aparatos son un poco complejos al fallar la energía se desprograman y no sabe alguno usuarios que es lo que pasa, tuve que preguntará un técnico amigo mío y me dijo checara el menú de obcciones del aparato así encontré la falla de mi aparato lastima que el personal del centro de servicio no den asesoramiento a los usuarios lo hacen a propósito
Well this Friday I contacted the onkyo service center, the person who attended me does not know or just wants to get money and waste people's time, the devices are a bit complex when the power fails, they are deprogrammed and some users do not know what it is. What happens, I had to ask a technician friend of mine and he told me to check the menu of the device's obctions so I found the fault of my device, it hurts that the service center staff do not give advice to users, they do it on purpose

Dos semanas llamando por teléfono sin qué nadie contestara. Envié a una persona a que se presentara en el centro por si había algún problema con la línea telefónica: lo regañaron por presentarse sin cita, cuando le comentó sobre las muchas llamadas qué se hicieron y la nula respuesta fue como si no hubiera dicho nada; y además de todo se vana tardar 10 días para dar un diagnóstico.
Two weeks on the phone without anyone answering. I sent a person to come to the center in case there was a problem with the phone line: they scolded him for showing up without an appointment, when he told him about the many calls that were made and the null response was as if he had not said anything; and besides everything it takes 10 days to give a diagnosis.

Hable por teléfono y prender un mes dejaron esperando como 10 minutos o más y ya que me contestaron me colgaron, volví a marcar y no dieron solución a mi problema.

Muy mala atención. Me dijeron que en dos semanas me darían presupuesto, y sí ocurrió así. Y en cuanto di el anticipo, no he recibido ninguna comunicación más de su parte. Ya voy para 2 semanas y nada. Ni un correo me han contestado.

Apenas dejé mi estereo Onkyo. Tienen una larga lista de espera para diagnóstico, como de un mes. Espero que sea bueno porque me lo recomendaron del servicio de la marca.
I just put down my Onkyo stereo. They have a long waiting list for diagnosis, like a month. I hope it's good because it was recommended to me by the brand's service.
