★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Yalalag nombre zapoteco que significa “Cerro desparramado", es una comunidad que preserva, cuida y comparte con mucho entusiasmo su cultura e historia. En su centro se expresa el arte, con el mural que plasma sus actividades; la agricultura, la elaboración de sus panes en horno de barro (mis favoritos los tradicionales panes de muerto), la vestimenta; con en la elaboración de huaraches y huipiles, la música y la danza. En este lugar casi todos los días puedes degustar la bebida ancestral “pozontle”, hecha con agua, cacao, panela, maíz y cocolmeca (una raiz que la hace diferente de otras bebidas de cacao), al final es opcional agregarle un poco de maíz o arroz. Puede que su origen se debata con los betazeños debido a que en Betaza sólo crecía la planta.
