★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hermosísimos paisajes! Un lugar que si o si recomiendo ir! La entrada cuesta $50 y la combi que va desde Comitán está en $35, la última que vuelve es alrededor de las 18 hs. Si tienen la posibilidad, sugiero quedarse una noche allí, ya sea acampando o en las cabañas. Dentro hay restaurantes, puestos de comida y bebida, baños. Está muy preparado para el turista.
Beautiful landscapes! A place that yes or yes I recommend going! The entrance costs $50 and the combi that goes from Comitán is $35, the last one that returns is around 6:00 p.m. If you have the possibility, I suggest staying one night there, either camping or in the cabins. Inside there are restaurants, food and drink stalls, toilets. It is very prepared for the tourist.

Go to this entrance, it is much better than the other, you walk less, it has better views and, above all, good service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Prachtige plek! De wandeling langs alle cascadas is heel mooi. Prachtige uitzichten. Je kunt zelfs helemaal naar de top van de hoge waterval lopen voor 20 pesos extra. Entree was 40 pesos.
We zijn niet naar de andere kant geweest maar het lijkt erop dat deze kant de mooiste uitzichten heeft.
Beautiful place! The walk along all the cascadas is very nice. Beautiful views. You can even walk all the way to the top of the tall waterfall for an extra 20 pesos. Entrance was 40 pesos.
We have not been to the other side but it seems that this side has the best views.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Son dos entradas diferentes a ver las mismas cascadas, pero de diferente lado del río. Ya que son 2 comunidades diferentes divididas por el río.
Esta es la del centro ecoturístico cascada velo de novia. Conozco también la otra entrada que es el centro ecoturístico cascadas del chiflón, que es la más conocida.
Conozco ambas y está entrada está más fácil para maniobrar con tu vehículo, hay menos gente, la subida es más ligera, y se aprecian desde otro ángulo las cascadas. Esta entrada la recomiendo para toda la familia, son menos escalones para llegar a la cascada velo de novia, y son menos desgastantes.
Además este centro es sus instalaciones están más limpias, como sus baños en muy buen estado, y su sendero muy bien hecho.
Sin duda una mejor entrada. Y más fácil de llegar.
They are two different entrances to see the same waterfalls, but from different side of the river. Since they are 2 different communities divided by the river.
This is the ecotourism center Cascade Veil de novia. I also know the other entrance, which is the chiflon waterfalls ecotourism center, which is the best known.
I know both and this entrance is easier to maneuver with your vehicle, there are fewer people, the climb is lighter, and the waterfalls are appreciated from another angle. I recommend this entry for the whole family, there are fewer steps to reach the wedding veil waterfall, and they are less exhausting.
In addition, this center's facilities are cleaner, such as its bathrooms in very good condition, and its path very well done.
Definitely a better entry. And easier to get to.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the newer park "Velo de la
Novia" that occupies the north/west side of the river. The other park, on the south/east side of the river is the "Chiflón" park and probably more well known. There are no bridges connecting the two parks and they have different entrance fees. I only went to this park so I can definitively say which has better views but they are definitely both amazing. If I had to guess I would venture that this park has a better view of the biggest waterfall because it has a better perspective. This park seems to be less crowded than the other and the trail was newer and in generally very good shape. I believe the entrance cost 40 pesos. It's 20 pesos more if you want to hike to the top of vela de la novia (for now this trial ends at the pool below "arcoiris" but it seems they have plans to expand it to the last waterfall, quincenara)
