★ ★ ★ ★ ★ El lugar es muy padre, tiene una cascada que para llegar a ella tienes que caminar alrededor de 30 minutos todo en bajada, y para subir de regreso tardar 50 minutos es algo cansado pero el lugar es muy bonito.
The place is very father, has a waterfall that to get to it you have to walk around 30 minutes all downhill, and to climb back take 50 minutes is somewhat tired but the place is very beautiful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This small village is located 45 minutes from the city of Ixmiquilpan. There are guides available that teach about the history of the village. The village was colonized by Spanish Conquistador and was used to look for gold and silver. After fail attempt of finding precious metals it was abandoned. Before the Conquistador it was populated by the Otomí natives and still is too this day. The scenery is beautiful and they have a small tourist area. This is a perfect place to experience the old time Mexico with Native Culture or to get out of the modern, fast moving world.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I enjoyed hiking to the waterfall. I recommend hiking with a local tour guide. They have an extensive knowledge of the landscape and can provide insight into the history of the local people.
