En el año de 1934 siendo gobernador de Durango Carlos Real se propone realizar una magna obra arquitectónica en el sector educativo que mostrara la fuerza y el poder del estado, para ello se dispuso de un bello y moderno centro educativo que se levantaría en uno de los barrios mas populares de la ciudad de Durango el barrio de Tierra Blanca, llevaría el nombre de Centro Escolar Revolución.

In the year of 1934, being governor of Durango, Carlos Real proposes to carry out a great architectural work in the educational sector that will show the strength and power of the state, for this purpose, a beautiful and modern educational center that would be built in one of the most popular neighborhoods in the city of Durango, the neighborhood of Tierra Blanca, would be named the Revolution School Center.
