About Centro Mexicano
The law requires that newer buildings conform with existing architecture, and the town has gone to some lengths to retain its picturesque arched colonial mansions, flower-filled patios, and winding cobblestone streets. This town has no traffic lights and for that matter, no neon signs at all. It is a friendly, quiet town that is remarkably comfortable for the traveler and expatriate, It has a rhythm of its own, not to mention it’s incredible weather…

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice people. A little trouble getting through to book a class but I kept calling and got through in the afternoon. Mornings super busy. All ages. If you show up at 8 AM they will accommodate you in a class. $70 for a week of one hour survival class 8-9 AM or 1-2 PM. $200 for one week of 3 hours per day intensive class 9-12. Also private classes if you need more flexibility.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The time that my children spent at the school (also known as Escuela Josephina) was extra special! The kids asked if they could go on Saturday too! The teachers and instructors are knowledgeable and kind. We would recommend it wholeheartedly! Also, during the summer they went on field trips and did amazing crafts! I wish I had an extra suitcase for all of their awesome stuff! We can’t wait to come back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My kids had the best time ever with Josefina and her amazing team. Each day my kids came home with a greater knowledge of Spanish and beaming with excitement because of the field trip they went on or new words they learned or an art project they complicated. I can’t recommend Centro Mexicano enough, it’s such a special place!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had classes at this school for 4 weeks with my husband, daughter, son in law, and two granddaughters ages ii and 14. It was a wonderful experience. Josefina and Sara were so welcoming. They made us feel like a part of their family. We learned a lot of Spanish and had so much fun. My granddaughters loved their classes with Sara’s daughter. They had two hours of Spanish each morning and then an additional two hours of arts and crafts taught in Spanish. The projects they made were beautiful - piñatas, flowers, aprons, masks and more! They made tortillas twice, empanadas and took many trips to different local markets. The adults had two hours of Spanish each morning. Sara was able to blend her instruction to accommodate the needs of each student. It was the best!!! Thank you, Sara and Josefina. I truly miss you!! Sending our love and appreciation.
