Like other negative comments, I had a bad experience, I couldn't take my appointment because they didn't let me go with my little girl, even though the appointment was for me, they should allow access to people who take their children for check-ups, I think the judgment of the girl at the reception is quite bad.
I originally saw that this ophthalmologist had a good rating, however it would be nice to have an alternate option.

Terrible service, I went with a confirmed appointment, first they told me that my appointment was the next day and then that the doctor would not come on the date that according to them the appointment was. It is unfortunate that an issue of lack of organization of the reception girl, has an impact on a negative rating.
They claim to be calling patients to walk through appointments, so why didn't I ever get that call or why the date mix up? Simple, because they didn't write down my appointment.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Staff is friendly. Had to wait 30 minutes past my appointment time. Pricing is quite high ($800 pesos for initial visit, $2600 for OCT scan).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I called in and they had closed as with the Covid-19 the hours have changed but they were able to arrange a last min emergency appointment, the cost was more but it was last min and after hours so I do understand that and there is no reason to complain. The doctor was extremely professional and timely in her arrival and the staff communicating to me on FB appointment were also prompt and helpful. The facility was modern and clean, the doctor was very knowledgeable about my condition and gave good advice. I will continue with this doctor and drop mine in Cancun after the next appointment.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dr. Marisol and her staff accommodated an emergency appointment for an eye scratch that looked worse than it was thankfully. She examined the eye and explained in perfect English every step and and answered every concern. If you find yourself in need of an ophthalmologist in the Playa Carmen area look no further!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My better half was experiencing problems with her left eye and after researching, we contacted Corima for their help alleviating her condition. They gave her an appointment that same day, as well as a full diagnosis of her condition before we left the office. Dra. Marisol was very patient and detail oriented while walking us thru her condition - in English and in layman’s terms. From the moment we entered the office to the moment we left, we experienced nothing but calm professionalism and caring attitudes. We can’t praise their skills highly enough. Thank you for your tender mercies!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I got assaulted and my eyes were beaten and black and bloodied. I came here a week after to check my eyes. IT was 800 pesos for the visit, the wait wasn't long, and the doctor spoke english, and I felt the equipment and care was very good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I want to give this place 100 stars. On a family vacation, I got sand in my eye-- like lodged into my eyelid so that I was in substantial discomfort and could not sleep b/c REM made it scratch my eye. I was about to travel from Cozumel to Akumel (ferrying through Playa Carmen) so I called this place and asked about an appointment for that day. The woman who answered the phone was SO kind to me as I fumbled with my totally pathetic Spanish. I got there, the doctor took the sand out, gave me eye drops, and all during the length of one Daniel Tiger episode. SAVED my vacation!! THANK YOU.
