★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of my favorite places in Mexico! I've been many times. Lots and lots of crystal clear lakes and rivers to swim in, a waterfall you can swim behind, and archeological ruins, all in walking distance of each other. Nice to spend a night or two, but is also worth going even if you only have a couple of hours. Very few tourists, and rarely any foreign tourists. Great fish served in most of the restaurants. Very near the Guatemala border of La Mesilla, so it's easy to go there when traveling between San Crisobal and Guatemala.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful place, I don't recommend going on public holidays (especially semana santa), but outside this times when there is not many people it is gorgeous. Beautiful clear water, lovely for swimming, lots of nature!
