★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tuvimos una gran visita a la tienda y tomamos un recorrido del taller. Fue de maravilla. Yo visite este taller hace 40 años cuando era joven. Mis padres me heredaron un juego de vajilla que hamos tenido y usado por 40 años. Regrese para comprar algunas piezas nuevas que hacen juego con ellos y compre varios otros piezas de diferentes estilos de recuerdo. Todos eran muy amables. Los precios son muy buenos también.
We had a great visit to the store and took a tour of the workshop. It was a blast. I visited this workshop 40 years ago when I was young. My parents inherited a dinnerware set that we have owned and used for 40 years. Come back to buy some new pieces to match them and shop for several other pieces in different styles of keepsake. They were all very nice. The prices are very good too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A real ceramic factory. We were given a tour and observed how the pottery is made and watched the artisans hand painting the items. Seconds are available at a reduced price, but not full sets. Very helpful staff. Accepts credit cards.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a great place to get very nice Mexican pottery. The selection is quite large, and prices very reasonable. I believe they can also ship your purchases. (Not 100% sure on this, so best to check before buying) The store is a 5 minute walk from the main tourist area of Tlaquepaque, well worth the walk.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were looking for some new plates and bowls to replace the plates we bought on our last visit to Mexico. The designs and quality at El Palomar are phenomenal! They are also lead-free and microwave safe. The pictures don’t do the pottery selection justice; they have a range of colors and designs from plain to colorful, all hand painted. The store is a couple of blocks off of the main tourist street, but an easy walk. Best part? They ship to the US!
