If you love "Magical Towns" like Real de Catorce, San Miguel de Allende, and others, Cerro de San Pedro is the up and coming version of them and reminds me of what Real de Catorce used to be like in the 80's & early 90's, great things to come!

It's a far drive but well worth it indeed, there is no service out there for whether you have an iPhone or Android which is a good thing that way you can enjoy the scenery and all that the landscape has to offer. I definitely recommend you take the mining tour it's a bit creepy but well worth it about six meters down into the mountain where they mine for gold!!!! Yea I know I tried to grab some for my self but no luck lol There's lots of places to eat out to too as well and if you're photogenic then you'll have yourself a blast out there i know i did

If you don’t go on a weekend you’ll find almost everything closed. Visiting on Friday gives you some possibilities to find some open restaurants. The place is lovely and perfect to go and relax. There’s no cellular network or wifi

Very beautiful antique mining town lots of people from around the world visiting this ancient place. A very good experience to be there enjoying the stone walk streets an beautiful ancient buildings. Good place to relax and have a different experience of the Mexican beauties.

Food was ok-ish, tons of people drinking on the public way, lots of different noises from different places with music it became a nuisance. The place is now full of bars which is not bad, good for economic growth but the main square literally smells like old spilled beer and drunkenness, there's trash cans that are super smelly. It is too bad that it has become a big cheap bar. We should preserve our magical towns for what they were.
