Los árboles nos dan vida, desgraciadamente estamos en un momento crítico para nuestro presente y ni que hablar de nuestro futuro. El exceso de calor y la inconsistencia de muchas personas que hacen quemas agrícolas nos están dejando sin este importante ecosistema. El 20 de abril del 2021 se suscitó un incendio que duró más de una semana, quizá el incendio más grave de la historia de este cerro! Literalmente estamos bajo una nube de humo, ni siquiera se puede ver el sol por completo, hay una nube muy espesa de humo! El gobierno desgraciadamente actúa demasiado tarde y deficientemente. Mi invitación es para que cuidemos nuestro entorno, pequeñas acciones todos juntos lograremos darnos unos cuantos años más de vida. Suena muy drástico decir unos cuantos años más de vida pero es tan real, este año según la CONAGUA estamos con 76% del país en sequía, el lago de cuitzeo está 50% seco y el único glaciar de México ya se declaró extinto.
