It is a challenge to climb the hill. But with desire and physical and mental relaxation, it can be overcome. The wooded area produces a lot of oxygen necessary for our organism and the top offers spectacular views. In the end there is no pain and if you want to go back up.

A good place to oxygenate the lungs since the climb to the hill is good. The view is beautiful when you reach the top. You can take something and have breakfast upstairs or when you go down eat at the stalls

A very easy mount to climb, you don’t need to be an athlete or fit to be able to ascend to the top. It is a good place for camping, hiking, running or just for a picnic At the summit there is a cellphone antenna, an altar dedicated to Christ the King and wonderful views of the surrounding towns and the Malinche Volcano. I suggest using confortable tennis shoes or boots because there might be mud on the trail and the last part of the mountain is a little bit steep. The top is 2,900m (9,515ft) above sea level and it might get a little cold or windy sometimes. The trail to the summit starts in Guadalupe Street and along the trail there are 14 little altars, the average ascend time is about one hour. The legend says that there are hidden somewhere in the mount bells made out of gold.
