★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Este cerro debe su nombre a que se asemeja a la silueta de un cadáver tendido en el suelo y que ofrece una amplia vista desde lo alto del valle, este se ubica llegando a Cuatro Ciénegas por la carretera 30, viniendo desde Monclova y cruzando por Frontera, San Buenaventura, Nadadores, Sacramento y Lamadrid, se yergue, al este del pueblo mágico y como parte de la sierra de la Sierra de Menchaca, aparece el Cerro del muerto. Alto, impresionante, y perpetuo vigía del pueblo mágico.
This hill owes its name to the fact that it resembles the silhouette of a corpse lying on the ground and that offers a wide view from the top of the valley, this is located arriving at Cuatro Cienegas by highway 30, coming from Monclova and crossing through Frontera , San Buenaventura, Nadadores, Sacramento and Lamadrid, stands east of the magical town and as part of the Sierra de Menchaca mountain range, the Cerro del Muerto appears. Tall, impressive, and perpetual lookout for the magical town.
