Plus the owner is a great guy, love when those who make the food are kind souls as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is one of our favorite restaurants in downtown Oaxaca. If you need a break from traditional local Mexican food this is the place. The food is fresh, there are lots of vegetarian and even vegan options. The setting is gorgeous— it is in an old courtyard and it is very quiet and a convenient location central to downtown. Owner is friendly. Try the cauliflower tacos. The onions rock also!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The poke bowl, & cauliflower tacos are great main dishes to try. The cornbread dessert is pretty good, but not anything like cornbread in the USA. The local beers are really good. And if you’re brave, try the #6 drink with glitter. But beware, it’s strong
