★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’ve been here 3 times and enjoyed two very average experiences, and my last experience, which turned into a rather horrid adventure that played out like a slow motion car wreck you couldn’t escape.
To start, I ordered a drink on the rocks. After the waiter told me he undertood, he brought out my drink frozen and when confronted, told me they could not make it on the rocks. This is not true, I have previously enjoyed that drink on the rocks.
In a nightmarish fashion our waiter brought out three plates of cold food. We made our waiter aware of the problem, and in turn he grew hostile and defensive.
Hoping to wake ourselves from the nightmare that was this meal we left cash on the table for the food and drinks we purchased and left to find better food elsewhere. In the middle of our next meal, a waitress from the resauraunt approaches us at our table demanding we pay more. When we asked to see a receipt, she told us she could not bring one and demanded we return with her.
After walking 4+ blocks back to the poor house that is Cervecería Chapultepec, I examined the receipt and noticed they had charged us for a coke. Indeed, we had ordered the coke with our food and it never came. When I pointed this out the waiter said it was on the table. Yes, the waiter put our coke on an empty table and then had another employee chase us 5 blocks for 10 pesos.
Worst service in all of Mexico, worst food in all of North America. Avoid like the plague.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I believe it’s the first establishment in Mexico city....all the way from Guadalajara. Love the prices and the food is delicious, small but good. Also, stop by and have some drinks with friends, cheap stuff.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ DO NOT COME HERE. Awful food, awful drinks and above all else, awful service. After not receiving one of our drinks, being served cold food and getting a drink order wrong, we left leaving money on the table (the waiter was nowhere in sight to give us our bill). One of the staff chased us to another bar demanding we pay more without showing us a receipt. This was the most attention we received all night. After going back to talk about the bill, we saw they charged us for the missing drink they put on the table AFTER we left. When finally taking it off the bill, they were fighting us over MX$10 demanding that we pay. I’ve come here multiple times before knowing the food and drink was very average, but I will never be coming back after this experience.
