Chac Choc Tours & Rentals - 77663 San Miguel de Cozumel

Came to Cozumel from Playa for tour on June 14, 2021 for 3 people. Got to the location and waited for 2 hours. No one from Chac Choc tours ever showed up and no communication was received. Spent $38 US dollars to get here plus a taxi tot the marina. Will spend an addition $38 to get back to Playa del Carmen and all for a frustrating time. People on the boat ramps from other companies were trying to help and no one answered at Chac Choc either when we called. Very frustrated with the lack of communication and the wasted money for a tour that never happens. DO NOT USE

This tour was so fun! Juan was friendly and entertaining and was so informative and we felt really safe in and out of the water. The snorkeling was awesome and Ivan taking underwater photos was a great surprise. The fresh fruit passed around by Captain Ramon was awesome. Definitely a must do tour.

If you come to Cozumel, go snorkeling with these guys!!! Excellent experience, cannot say enough positive things about the hospitality from the captain, photographer, and snorkel guides. Completely safe and they paid great attention to all the guests. Beer, waters, and equipment included, these guys showed us some beautiful fish and at the end took us to a little drink and mingle in the ocean. So much fun!!!

We went on a snorkel trip with them and had a great time! I was very nervous as it was my first snorkel trip and our guides JC, Oscar and Ramon were helpful, funny and made me feel very comfortable. We recommended this trip to others staying at our resort and they loved it as well!

We went on a snorkeling trip and it was a blast! I would definitely recommend this as a great activity during a trip to Cozumel.

Tony, Patchi + Romero were absolutely excellent! We LOVED our 3 reef tour of Colombia reef, Palancar reef ( a dream spot!! ) and el Cielo beach. They were kind, responsive and very knowledgable. They helped us out our very first time and made it so memorable we had to go back a second time! Absolutely recommend the guys at Chac Choc tours Cozumel - you will not be disappointed!

great guides, real snorkeling equipment with the ball in the tube that keeps water out of your mouth. No sunscreen allowed near the reef so buy a spf shirt if you don't want to get fried. On board photos $ 50 USD but they are great bring tip $ too.

Speed snorkeling trip !!!What a joke !We planned to have a lovely Christmas day out snorkeling as we just arrived to the island . Our whole morning was planned around this day trip and we were excited . The ticket sales person originally said “the tour will start at 11 am please meet up at 10:50am.”We arrived on time to waste time waiting for other people to join from the mainland ...After being told to come back at 11:30 ,the handful of us walked towards the boat . When we arrived at the boat it was not what we had booked . We booked the “Catamaran Experience” it was a regular fisherman’s style boat that was jammed packed. We were then told to wait again till 1:30 pm to get what we paid for .So we had to waste more time! When the Catamaran arrived it was old ,unmaintained and really a sight for sore eyes . We were promised there would be shade ,there was practically nothing . Finally we set off for 2hours before we got in the water !!! On the way we picked up one of the crew members family which consisted of 6 additional guests . The music they played was off one the crew ‘s phone who constantly answered calls and recieved text messages, that there was no point. When we finally go into the water we were rushed out which felt like ten minutes later to go to the next stop !Again the same thing at the second stop. The was the fastest snorkeling trip I have ever done !! You spent more time on the boat then in the water . Really a disappointment .Also free beer was promised but you could only drink after you finished snorkeling . Snacks were provided ,but the galley that it was prepared in was in such a state that I don’t think any hygienic measures were taken . The crew members family also got there own meals provided and ate privately to the side.On the journey home some of the family members danced promiscuously all the way back and thought it was entertaining.As an experienced seafarers this trip was an absolute joke . We travelled 5 weeks in Mexico and that was the worst experience on Christmas Day !!! Avoid the ticket sales next to ‘Woodys ‘bar on Cozumel island .
