Grandes personajes ya finados quedaran en la historia de este barrio (Quien no recuerda al famoso Tereso Osorio , al famoso Victor Morgado "murcia", "vicho", al Sr Lupito Montalvo, Don Mario Delgado, Don Prieto Miranda, Don Nabor el panadero, al famoso "Candido", por mencionar algunos.
Beautiful Chacaltiangius, and beautiful its people from Av. Reforma. Entre las márgenes del Rio Papaloapan (mariposas) se encuentra el histórico Chacaltianguis.

Con arquitectura colonial, por las raíces de Españolas, Francesas, Italianas, así como Mexicanas, logra tener costumbres y gastronomía única de la región.
Entre el Río de Mariposas, se postra la auténtica Isleta Chacalapa, que hoy es uno de sus atractivos naturales.
Sin duda es un lugar lleno de magia, tradiciones, si tienes la oportunidad no dejes de conocer lo pintoresco que es mi pueblo.
