The best experience here! It is a great school to advance your spanish, no matter what level you are at! All the teachers/staff are extremely helpful and it makes you feel like you are becoming a part of a family. Would 110% recommend!

I really enjoyed my time at Chicano and learned so much. My Spanish has improved immensely. Paco, Evelyn, and the rest of the team made me feel so at home in Querétaro. The weekend trips to the neighboring towns were awesome. Thoroughly recommended ?

I had a fantastic experience at Chantico school. The teachers and facilities at the school are great but what makes it stand out to me is the special attention and support from Paco, the director of the school. He was there for me since before even arriving in Mexico, helping with all the questions/issues I had, etc, plus just making the experience special with things like bringing tacos to us in class, a cake on my birthday + some awesome day-trips to Bernal, San Miguel De Allende & Tequis. So nice to experience these places & hang out with some other students, etc. I studied at the school for 3 months, studying twice a week. I learned so much during that time and the whole experience was really fun. I can highly recommend this school, I think it would be hard to find a better learning experience in Mexico. (& Queretaro is a great city, you'll love it here).

I highly recommend Chantico Spanish School at PLI to help you meet your Spanish language learning goals! Francisco, the Director, is very personable, and open to helping his students succeed in whichever way is best for them. Finding myself in lovely Querétaro for a month, and already having a fair grasp of the Spanish language from living and taking many classes in a different Latin American country (Ecuador), I had an unusual request. I approached Francisco with my desire for conversation practice rather than standard classes. Different countries within Latin America, and different areas within the same country, can have very different accents and even use different words and phrases, even while all in the same language. I was struggling in Mexico with this very concept, and wanted to improve my ability to converse more confidently there. I offered to help those learning English in exchange for help with my Spanish. Francisco was more than happy to help me, matching me with local adult students who wanted to practice their English while I practiced my Spanish, so we took turns conversing in both languages and learned a lot from one another while having fun in the process. I even joined him and his international students on visits to nearby towns on the weekends. My experience with Chantico was definitely a positive one, and I recommend stopping by to chat with Francisco on how he might help you meet your language goals as well.

Best language school in Querétaro! I have been learning Spanish here over the last 6 months & I am simply amazed about how much progress I made. Chantico is a great school that provides high quality teachers in a professional atmosphere. I have been impressed by the option of in-class learning and/or online one-on-one teaching, as you can switch between them as needed. The teachers have extensive experience and credentials and the management was very accommodating and helpful as I was learning the city of Querétaro. Paco, Lulú and everyone were very helpful I was pleased how much more quickly I was able to communicate in Spanish than during previous attempts.

Chantico is a fantastic experience! The teachers are excellent and the director Francisco bends over backwards to help with anything you need. He helped me find lodging, picked me up at the airport, and ensured I could get a COVID test to return to the US. Queretaro is a beautiful city, clean, safe, with loads of history and amazing architecture. Best of all, I improved my Spanish! I recommend this school to students wanting an intensive Spanish learning experience in Mexico!

“We are here for you” is a phrase we heard so often from Francisco (Paco), the owner of the school. I truly believe you won’t find a better language learning experience than this. And what an experience it was! We were so surprised by how much Spanish we learned in such a short period of time. Language learning is fun here! And the cherry on top is the complimentary day trips to Queretaro’s Magic pueblos that Paco hosts you to. He goes out of his way to have you embrace and enjoy the culture and experience of what Queretaro and Mexico has to offer. Furthermore, Paco is one of the most genuine, generous people I’ve ever met. It’s a pleasure and gift to have him as a friend. And his staff are some of the most gracious people you’ll meet. Our profesora, Teresá, was thorough, well-prepared, patient and fun! We’ve been traveling the world the last 5 years teaching English online. I’ve taken several languages courses in my 54 years. I have a lot of experience to compare this to. Selecting this school was the best language learning choice I’ve made by far. I can’t recommend Chantico Spanish School at PLI enough! Thank you Paco and Teresá!
