★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely incredible. Perfectly executed Neapolitan style pizza - chewy crust and authentic ingredients. We enjoyed the Torino pie and plan to go back and try the Margherita. The owner was working and she was so kind and extremely attentive. We will be back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing! The sourdough is very good. They use a machine that doesn’t let the gluten break up and you can taste it. San Marzano tomatoes from Naples. Hands down one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. Their gelatos are very good. Their homemade vanilla and hazelnut deserve a shoutout. One of my favorites in Tulum.

Would give it five stars but unfortunately they made a mistake and left the taleggio and mozzarella on my order despite me asking for goat cheese only. I didn’t realize it before eating. I have a cow dairy sensitivity and this was for a very uncomfortable flight home.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had such a great experience at this pizza joint. Our server Raul was excellent and provided incredible service. The pizza was one of the best I’ve had and the vibe at the outdoor benches was perfect. Highly recommend and will go back when I visit Tulum again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The entirety of Tulum beach is infested with restaurants that have banging music, endless clapping and sparklers with each shot, alongside average yet expensive food.
If however, you actually like good food and have no need for sparklers with every drink come to Checkpoint. The sourdough is stunning, the starters divine and the wine list is exceptional with some very enjoyable Mexican wines. All reasonably priced, particularly for Tulum. Topped off with fantastic service what more can you ask for?
Cannot recommend enough, plus it’s a really rather cute looking restaurant. 10/10.
