Would have given them a higher score but security checked my purse, I dumped it out and thank God they don't sell my cosmetics there...she was making walkie talkie calls to another person about me and it freaked me out and I felt threatened. Of course I hadn't stolen anything but felt like they could have planted someting on me or passed something through without ringing it up and I would be in trouble. I felt humiliated and scared that is was going to be a set up to extort... I went in to buy the Chedraui brand indoor and outdoor paint, to paint my house exterior. I have painted 2 coats (over a sealer on new construction) and it needs a third coat maybe even a 4th...after last weeks one day downpour of rain, I see I probably made a mistake trying to save money and try a store brand other than a top brand like I had in the past. Behr, Comex, Berel, etc...all good quality and 1 coat coverage. Also, they don't sell any steaks, no T-bone, no rib eye, no filet mignon, New York strip, nada. Very disappointing!!

This one is a large supermarket, but this one really shows the fact that it is located in a not so rich part of the city, having little to no wine selection and having pigeon-sized roast chickens. The administration of this supermarket should take notice that, despite the poor neighbourhood, this supermarket happens to be last stop if you are taking the highway to Merida, so it does see its fair share of "upscale customers", who then can't buy some upscale products for the long road ahead.

***Nasty and Unsanitary*** I try to refrain from leaving bad reviews, and is too bad because I really do like Chedraui Stores. Chedraui has a large selection of product, really good prices, great Deli and Several locations across Mexico. This particular location's Deli was different ?. When it comes to buying hot and ready to eat food from the Deli, I am accustomed to having the clerk serving my plate. At this location is more of an open Buffet. Customers serve themselves and then walk up to the cashier to pay for the food. While I was enjoying my Chilaquiles, I noticed a customer using the serving spoon to try a dish. This customer to a bite and then return the spoon back into the rest of the food?. I lost my appetite after that. I asked to speak to the General Manager only to be told that they were in meeting. After insisting, a supervisor by the name of Antonio came to me. I explained what happened and his response was, "Oh, yeah. Unfortunately it happens often."?. Antonio was not rude but I feel that he was not really concerned with the issue. He said that he would make sure to speak to his superior about it.

This is were to shop, have most items,including gifts, food, beer. No better prices in the area. Staff was helpful. Whish I new of this place sooner.

Store has a terrific selection however cashier's are not very fast and check your receipt to make sure your not overcharged for sale items! Got 3 bags of groceries for 1000 mxn not too bad at all!

This Chedraui is very popular. People come here pretty often to find what they need. By the way, the Mexican Sweet Bread is really delicious, it has the "special touch" from the masters bakers they hired years ago to have great quality bread. The parking lot is not an issue and you will get used to the place where everything is to save time. Great store. Just a tip, the best day to find fresh produce is on Tuesdays and on Wednesdays because it is their special day to have better prices and they refill everything with great fruit and veggies. ;)

This supermarket sells food, liquor, beer, wine, clothing, furniture, appliances, hardware, garden supplies, TVs, phones, and drugs. Parking is free with some covered spaces. Alcohol is sold from 9 AM until 9 PM Monday thru Saturday and 10 AM until 5 PM on Sunday. There are ATMs and a Citibanamex is next door. They do accept Mastercard and American Express. They do not do Xoom payments here. There is a small deli with a seating area. Restrooms are located in the hall at the north west corner of the building. Prices are low and selection is OK but not as good as a US supermarket. Wish they would put the eggs in the refrigerator.
