★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was our own date night here after the one organized by Excellance turned out to be a disaster. Amazing place. They have a separate vegetarian menu with many vegan dishes and some of the vegetarian ones can be modified to be vegan as well.
We started with Crispy vegetables salad with sherry vinaigrette, lentils pate served with portobello mushrooms confit and beetroot jelly. For the main course, we went for Capellini pasta, Pilaf Rice and wild mushrooms and beans cassoulet. The food was great.
The service was good. The staff was good and friendly. When we reached the lady said there is a 30mins wait and gave us a buzzer which buzzed within 5 minutes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best restaurant on the property. Excellent quality of food makes up for the smaller portions. The service is exceptional and the atmosphere is wonderful. Can't say enough good things about Chez Isabelle. I had intended on sampling the other restaurants at Excellence but just ended up coming back here. You'll be amazed that this place is at an all-inclusive!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well where do i start. . . . This is by far the nicest place i have ever eaten. The onion soup was amazing, my partner had the fillet steak that was cooked to perfection to the point she was able to cut it with a normal knife. I had the garlic lamb ribs and they were also amazing. A must go if you are ever at the Excellence Playa Mujeres, Cancun.
