★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We spent about $150 for 4 people. Ordered shrimp, fish tacos and guacamole. Terrible. You better off buying tacos off the street because they are way tastier and costs only 20 Pesos which is one dollar. Over here you pay 200 Pesos for 3 terrible tacos. We had 8 shots of absolut. Location is great, really great since it’s the first restaurant( or a hole in the wall) when you first walk in. I would recommend going and checking out other food options. Come on guys you have the best spot, you know tourists live fresh seafood and you choose to be so cheap on the food. Step up the game and get some real food on the table and this place will get 5 star reviews and be full all day long. The size of the shrimp on tacos is the size of a small fingernail. Seriously ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent fried shrimp and shrimp tacos. Good prices for everything, but not as cheap as if you went away from the beach. Take some tequila shots and relax right on the beach!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great view. Food ok. Waiter rude and makes u feel like a bother. Told me no card. Spent 35 min finding an ATM for another table to tell me THEIR waiter said they can take card for a fee. Why weren’t we told that from the beginning. Wasted 40 min now of our time finding an ATM when it was never necessary. Bad experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We paid for beach chairs and wish we would have sat in them to try out, they were awful, very uncomfortable. We also had to keep going up to the bar to place an order for drinks, usually someone comes around to get orders but not here, busy talking and then would be like oh you want something we bring what you want. Anyhow if you are reading this choose another spot on this incredible beach, there are plenty of options.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ CASH ONLY! Really great fried shrimp and right on the beach. Like you can literally sit 5 ft away from the blueist water you may ever see. Everything was great here and reasonably priced. If you are looking for fancy, go elsewhere.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Looking for a beach right in front of the restaurant, where you can relax and/or let your children swim 20 - 30 steps away? This is the place for you. The beach is very calm. No waves. The food is very decent. Nothing extraordinary. Prices are very good considering that you are in front of a beautiful beach with white sand and turquoise water. Highly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Provided service even while we were staying at Ixchel. Flavorful food. Good piña colada and margarita. Jesus was the best server. Delicious nachos and skirt steak along with kebobs with lobster steak and shrimp.
