CHN Hotel Monterrey Norte - 64190 Monterrey

SCARY PLEASE READ ALL REVIEW! The receptionist Humberto was not very kind, he was in a bad mood. The room was good, bed very comfortable as well as the pillows. The breakfast was ok, I didnt like the egg it had a weird taste. The coffee was very good I loved it, dark roast very strong. Good gym and good pool. The glass door of the shower did not close all the way, that caused the water to leak outside and made a big puddle in the toilet area. NOW HERE COMES THE STRANGE PART OF MY STAY! At around 9:00 am they tried to open the door but we didnt check who it was, we just ignored it. The second day at exactly 9:20 am they opened and closed the door, this time I got up and checked quickly and there was no one at the door nor at the hallway. It gave me chills but since im not afraid of ghosts I just ignored it and went back to bed. That was on room 512, if you want to get scared then choose that room. In conclusion, I will not stay again at this hotel. There is not much to do in that area, everything is far, no restaurants no plazas etc...

This hotel was nice. The staff was awesome in securing safe transportation for me. Even with the language barrier as I am nowhere near fluent in Spanish. They were exceptional, if I went out to smoke the guard lingered very close by. I would most definitely stay here again.

Nice clean and cool place. With great staff. You can order food service from fast food places to hotel.

It's not the same quality Hotel from previous stays. Outside of Hotel is under renovation and trash material all over the place. Cockroaches roam at night on the rooms and restroom. Rooms are pretty poor kept, the room carpet is so dirty, our kids bare feet were black from just walking on the carpet for about 30 minutes. We ordered Dinner from the hotel restaurant and asked for the trays we left outside to be picked up due to the previous days cockraches in the room. Plates were picked up the next day at Noon. Will not stay again and do not recommend.

Nice people but the plumbing is horrible. The location is as bad.

Positive: The rooms are clean and confortable, you can park in a safe place, the breakfast was good

Only 2 stars bc the bed was comfortable and the parking secure - however the pillows on the bed were sofa pillows used as bed pillows:/ I Do not recommend. Hotel was filthy. Bathroom smelled of sewage. Carpet was filthy like it had no been vacuumed in ages and hallways were strewn with trash and stains. This place was NOT worth the 1400+ pesos we paid. Wyndham should remove their name from this hotel
