Su exuberante decoración de muros, bóvedas y cúpula, a base de yeserías representa el antecedente de la Capilla del Rosario. Sus torres fueron reedificadas en 1957 ya que fueron destruidas por los bombardeos de 1856; se les conoce como las torres niñas por ser las más jóvenes de Puebla. Son las segundas más altas después de la Catedral de Puebla. El templo me gustó. Para empezar la fachada es de talavera con ladrillos en patrones que crean un mosaico realmente laborioso y muy atractivo. Al interior hay una decoración barroca y se destaca dadaa la vocación también de capilla del hospital de junto. Fue fundado porque un día un hombre vió como un perro se comía a un bebé en la calle. La piedad del hombre despertó su devoción y así fue como mandó construir un templo y hospital para ayudar a los más desfavorecidos. The temple is just at the end of Calle de los Dulces. Símbolo del imperio austrohúngaro. Además se puede apreciar claramente que las tallas que enmarcan las puertas fueron realizadas por manos indigenas, ya que son planas, carecen de la 3ra dimensión por ser encargos a partir de dibujos. Para los fieles católicos es una parada obligatoria ya que conecta con la calle de los dulces y Barrio del Artista. Transporte más cercano: rutas que circulan sobre la 10 oriente y 4 norte, además de metrobús línea 3. Fechas para celebrar: semana santa, fiestas decembrinas (se iluminan las calles) y fiesta patronal. Nice architecture, nice facade. A site that certainly deserves to be preserved.
