★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Insanely light and crisp churros, best I've ever had and so much fresher/tasty than ones I've had in the US

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best churros I’ve ever had!! Can’t get any fresher than this!! Yes, they are oily and sugary- that’s churros for you! And their hot chocolate and chocolate bars are a MUST!!
The place is super clean, including the bathrooms, and there are typical COVID protocols in place (temp taken, masks, shoe “washing” and physical distancing).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I visited the place alone and my order was the one in the photo. Lamb Sandwich (Tradicional “Torta de Pastor”), a Spanish hot chocolate and a piece of churros (which for me is already a pretty satisfactory size as you can see in the photo, bigger than a plate), but you can also order the 4-piece kit or any Manu options if your hunger resists. The Lamb sandwich is simply sensational, I can't measure the flavor, everything perfect with a touch of lemon getting even better, the chocolate is very thick and sweet (I like it that way but there are several other options). The churros I ordered with sugar and cinnamon all of this didn't even amount to US$7 (if you are converting to get an idea of the price, I like do this sometimes lol). All in excellent quantity!
In this travel I'm having serious daily problems with Mexican food (even though I don't eat on the street), but today is the first time I didn't have to run to the bathroom.
And the place is beautiful and clean! AMAZING!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I always pass by here whenever I’m at Zona Rosa to buy some churros. Well for Dia de los Muertos, they have a special flavor that tasted a bit orange-y, and with some dusting of carbon activated powder! I also tried their chocolate español and it was the bomb! Great for dipping your churros too!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hands down not only the best churros I’ve ever had- also the best hot chocolate! The churros arrive warm, light, crunchy on the outside, and not greasy. The Especial - Amargo - Bittersweet chocolate is slightly sweet, full of rich cacao including the cocoa butter, and very satisfying! My local friend says these are the best churros- 10x better than the very good churros we had at a generational long-term family establishment. Aside from the confections, you can sit at a second floor terrace in rocking chairs, observing the pedestrian street from a little distance. Very peaceful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ OMG this place is next level! The churros are crunchy yet soft. The chocolate to dip goes perfectly. Torta is spicy and flavourful.
