El peor banco de que he Sido cliente, el ejecutivo nunca lo encuentras, nunca en mi vida vuelvo a sacar un crédito aquí, y les ví aconsejar a todos mis conocidos que no se los recomiendo para nada.

I have had no problems using Credit and debit cards in CI Banco machines Cancun. Of course I always use one physically attached to a bank so if it ate my card I could get it back. Also less fear of tampering. I'm editing my review. I had no problem the first few days PVR. Then I had problems. Both times, the person at the the tellers wicket gave me a "why the hell are you bothering me" look and just shrugged. That was it! Each time I went three blocks north to Banorte and had a good experience. The second time there was a glitch but the guy at the wicket checked it out and when I tried again the ATM worked fine. So, my conclusion is that , CI Banco is more desperate for business in Cancun so they treat customers well; PVR not so much. In PVR Banorte really seems to want our business. So give it to them and let PVR CIBanco go hang!! If our business means so little to them give our fees to a company that appreciates the revenue.

A cheaper place for currency exchange. They are a tiny bit better with currency exchange fees than the town competition, Bancomer. There are very few places to get local currency in PVR. If you’re naive, and buy Pesos in the airport, be aware that they will charge you 30% in fees and commissions. There is only ones other ATM capable of changing your home currency into Mexican legal tender, and it is located nearly a mile away from CI, and they don’t offer a fare rate of exchange. I personally find this strange. I have been coming and going trough this town since 1962, and whatever happened here hardly seems like an improvement.

Very accessible and easy to get to…fast service… good rate of exchange for the US dollar. No exchange fees if using cash to exchange to pesos.

Please avoid at all costs!!!!!!!!!.... Was selling pesos back for dollars understood the exchange rate no qualms about it. Attempted to pass me a counterfeit $50 bill. When I insisted that I would not accept a counterfeit bill became forceful insisting that I take it refusing to switch for any other denomination or currency. Only once I threatened police interaction did she go get me to twenties and a 10 with an attitude. I don't know if they took the fake 50 and we're trying to get it out of their possession or if they're on a larger scale passing counterfeit currency. For absolute refusal to even accept that it was counterfeit after pointing out four currency errors. Definitely leads me to believe that she was in full comprehension of what she was attempting to do. Please avoid at all cost not to be trusted. Exchange rate was horrible on top of it but I make no argument about that. It is clearly posted.
