★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a great little cigar shop located on the ground floor of the fiesta americana hotel. They carry not just Cuban cigars but a good selection of Nicaraguan and Dominican cigars as well as Mexican cigars.I wanted to try some Mexican cigars I had never heard of before and Jimena, the lady who works there, was very helpful, and very nice. She didn’t just help me with cigars. She was also kind enough to help me find restaurants in the area, and she even took the time to send me some options on Google maps. Jimena’s English is perfect, but she also tolerated my Spanish very patiently. I really like this little cigar shop. I will make sure I stop in whenever I am in Merida.

We went to some other shops around Merida but this one had the greatest selection of Cubans and non Cuban cigars. Plus she was nice enough to give cedar planks when we asked for matches
