★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful rainforest type hotel with a lovely bar/restaurant surrounded with greenery and atmospheric lighting. The food served here is top quality. The rooms are really special with nice decor, large comfy beds, spacious balconies and nice views over the garden and restaurant area. The staff are very attentive and polite.
I found my stay super relaxing and enjoyable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This review is meant for the rooftop restaurant/bar area, I'm sure the hotel itself is beyond 5-stars. We came here while checking out different rooftops across Valle de Bravo. This had the most basic menu out of all, we expected much more. The mixology menu was the worst, both of our drinks were subpar and overpriced. I think a place of this stature should offer better options than basic mezcal with a splash of coke, lime, and salt. Also the view is slightly obstructed because the small pool is at the edge of the area, and the nearby tables are occupied by people enjoying the pool.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a terrible experience calling the hotel to book. Fernanda, the person who answered confirmed me the room type and rate for the dates I was looking for but she told me she couldn't take my info for the booking at that time and asked for my phone and name to call back and complete the booking. She said she was calling back in 10 or 15 minutes at the most however time passed and when it was one hour without hearing back from her I called the hotel and she answered the phone but when trying to complete the booking she said that the room type I wanted was taken. I asked for alternatives but nothing was accommodated and she was not willing to make up anything for the mistake she made. I asked to speak with the manager and she refused and ended up agreeing to speak with the manager and get back to me with a solution in 30 minutes. When she called back it was obvious she had not spoken with anyone and simply continue to offer me a more expensive room type without any value added for the mistake.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ants! We woke up in our second morning and our bathroom was crawling with ants, including in our clothes, towels, and toiletries. Not something you want to be paying for. Otherwise, the hotel was great.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is for the restaurant. The place is really pretty and they were very nice and accommodating. We asked whether or not they could serve us breakfast items at 2 pm and they did it for us. We called in advance and when we got there, the food was already waiting for us. The servers weren't that nice or friendly, though. The place is like a terrace overlooking a garden. Very nice and peaceful. The French toast is spectacular. They also have a really nice rooftop terrace.
