Cinépolis - 97134 Mérida

This is our favorite theater always clean and they have butter (margarine topping) for our popcorn. The hot dog that’s available in VIP is delicious.

The theater is not responsible for the quality of the film. They are responsible for the cleanliness, maintenance and the temperature in the sala. I have reached the point I will only risk seeing a film at this location if I really want to see it. Too often my seats broken, the floor and Banos are fithly. Plus they have only two options on their AC unit. Freezing cold or pizza oven hot.

Disappointing--My seat was broken and the air conditioning was to strong. The movie was not good enough to keep us in the substandard seats, so we left. Definitely downhill from a previously enjoyable experience. Pull up your socks, folks!

Power failed at the Altabrisa mall (not Cinepolis fault), but they refused to refund for a movie when I only saw less than half. Irritating, but, whatever... They issued a "credit" by joe-emplyee initialling my ticket stubs. A week or so later I returned to see a different movie - they didn't like that. I wanted to upgrade to the high end theatre and pay the difference in ticket price - they wouldn't allow that. Ok, now I'm mad. The manager explains that anybody could have initialed the tickets so they won't honor them (in other words they charged me for a service they didn't provide and refused to refund me). The snot nosed brat stood there and laughed at me for being mad. I really tried being calm for a long time, but eventually... I destroyed my Cinepolis black card and ripped up the tickets leaving the garbage on their counter and left - they really showed me. I went online and complained to their customer disservice... they never even replied. I will NEVER go to a Cinepolis again. I will actively tell others to -----> GO TO CINEMEX INSTEAD!!! <----- The facility is better. The food is actually not only edible, but even very good. The employees are not buttwipes, and the managers actually seem to have a clue about customer service. Here's the part I like most... hey morons at Cinepolis, I have over 75,000 positive reviews of my business reviews, and now well over 500,000 views. Your terrible service pushed me to a better competing service. I am happy to be a part of taking business away from you by broadly telling others about your horrible service.

My family and I attended the grinch sub (in english) at the VIP cinepolis it was the best theater experience I have ever had. The chaird were super comfortable( reclining leather, very nice!). The staff was all very nice and you can order food or snacks right to your seat. We will definitely be going back and will recommend to anyone who asks.

A great theatre with VIP lounge. We went to see a film advertised "traditional English." It was not in English, which was fine since it was a foreign film, but the subtitles were in Spanish. Got most of it, but have to be ever mindful of the accuracy of what is advertised.

Traditional movie house. Seats are ok. VIP is way to go. Pay a little extra, get better seats, and shorter good lines. Best to buy tix thru their app to ensure they dont sell out.
