★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great space, good health measures, the first row is a bit too close to the screen for comfort, but it is a great concept to have waiters and food delivered to your very comfortable seats...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The chairs are comfy you can lean back but it looks like they don’t really maintain them my light to order food wasn’t functional so it was inconvenient having to reach over to the other chair which could have been problematic if someone was occupying it. Also there currently not serving alcohol. I wouldn’t waste my money going here again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My favorite theater in the area. They have reclining seats, a nice menu and they serve drinks (after 1:00 pm). You can only order food and drinks and have them served 15 minutes after the start of the movie, so get there early enough. Reserved seating, so get your tickets early as well. There is a separate box office for the VIP theaters. Movies in Spanish or English (subtitled in Spanish).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have been wary (and been getting lazy) in regards to going out, especially during these trying, and seemingly endless, times of this pandemic. We did, finally, decide on a movie; our first since COVID 19. Curious, we decided on our first visit to Antea VIP.
Note the two stars? One star is for the super comfortable reclining chairs. One star is for the fact that an entrance ticket costs less than a local city bus in Vancouver...well almost.
Both at the entrance and on the menu, daily drink specials were advertised. In addition, a good selection of drinks and beers were listed. All good except there was not a drop of booze in the house! Dissapointed, and a little perplexed, I settled on a coffee from the many choices listed. You guessed it. No coffee. WT ? The food choices came with a guarantee of obesity and nausea, so we passed.
Not worth the pesos.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had been told about the amazing experiences in Mexican cinemas but felt a bit let down by the venue. First impressions positive with a nice open entry hall and clean bathrooms. Also once seated the chairs are big and recline which was very comfortable with a table/chair service. That's where everything then stoped being great and went mediocre. The food we ordered just wasn't that good. It took 40mins to arrive, I would have at least liked to have the drink straight away while the rest is cooked. The plain hotdog was wrapped in foil and looked squashed with dense bread. It came with some jalapenos, Pico de Gallo, 4 tomato sauce, 1 mustard and 2 mayo. I would have preferred an extra mustard and less tomato to stop waste. The curly fries were warm but over cooked. My partner's sushi was quite dry like the rice had been left out. Nachos were ok but the container for cheese is half the size of the Nacho making it awkward to eat in the dark. Comfort gives this place some positives but disappointed with the food.
