Quienes somos?
Durante la Conferencia Latinoamericana por la Soberanía Nacional y la Paz, celebrada en México a principios de agosto de 1961, se discutió el tema de la conformación de una nueva organización campesina independiente del aparato oficial, así como del partido gobernante, de los demás partidos políticos y de las organizaciones corporativas auspiciadas por éstos, sin embargo fue el Movimiento de Liberación Nacional (MLN) quien aglutinó a las diversas corrientes y grupos que promovían la formación de esta nueva Central entre los años 1961 y 1962.

During the Latin American Conference for National Sovereignty and Peace, held in Mexico in early August 1961, the issue of the formation of a new peasant organization independent of the official apparatus, as well as the ruling party, of the other political parties was discussed. and of the corporative organizations sponsored by these, nevertheless it was the National Liberation Movement (MLN) that agglutinated the diverse currents and groups that promoted the formation of this new Central between the years 1961 and 1962.
