Form over function. Lovely hotel but many questionable decisions around design (no hooks for hanging towels, no room service menu or WiFi information, no way to keep the balcony doors open, very dark at night in the sleeping area and even darker in bathroom area, scratchy towels) and inconsistent housekeeping (when we arrived, no bath mat or soap, then no wash cloths the next day). Gorgeous but not worth the price.

Went for the bbq on sunday, it was very disappointing , the girl that was attending our table had the worst attitude , she was always in a rush… food was good, we would’ve enjoyed it more but she was rude and made us feel uncomfortable. The girl at the entrance however was super nice. The vibe of the place per se its beautiful but my friend who is a foodie said he would never come back due to this service experience

Good hotel in a fantastic location, right behind the cathedral, next door to the Spanish cultural center and the Templo Mayor. The hotel is nice enough but feels rough around the edges. They have some of the problems from Habita group hotels: the interior design seems unfinished rather than minimalist, and is in many ways hostile to guests. There isn't anywhere to sit in the room other than the bed and the insistence on using a uniform color palette turns the uneven floor into a trip hazard. Since they farm out the restaurant to another company, there is confusion over what's what. Beware: I asked where breakfast was and was escorted into a restaurant that forced me to pay for a meal that was supposed to be included. When I spoke up, I was lectured about the commercial relationship between hotel and restaurant, as though I should have known. It's a great location and I slept well enough. It might be worth staying here if you can overlook the considerable rough edges that a hotel in this price range should not have. The Centro Historico needs more good hotels; maybe this can evolve to fill that niche.

The best terrase in Mexico city with a beautiful view at the catedral. Over my visit i went there three times. The cocktails are very good and the service very professional. If you want to have a relaxing afternoon or evening and you even want to refresh your self in a pool, this is the place .

The hotel is tucked quietly behind the cathedral on the main square of Zocola. Fabulous location for walking every where. The actual hotel itself was a delightful surprise. Rooms very modern in as colonial style building. Very helpful staff. The adjacent restaurants really are wonderful too. Highly recommended stay in the historic part of Mexico ?? City.

I absolutely loved my stay here! I don't leave many reviews, but wanted to express how wonderful the customer service is at Círculo Mexicano. The staff went above and beyond, sharing recommendations on where to eat the best tacos nearby, the safest routes for walking home at night, and even carried my very heavy luggage to the Uber meeting point, located on a nearby street. The restaurant at the entrance to the hostel is also wonderful, with excellent food and outstanding service. Thank you for a memorable visit, I'll be back:)

The rooms and hotel are exquisite. However, the rooftop lounge plays music well past 11pm that can be heard from the rooms. It is impossible to drown out the noise. On two separate occasions someone (not hotel staff) tried entering my room which made me feel uncomfortable and insecure. A higher level of security would be preferable. The staff is very accommodating and pleasant but I would recommend staying at another hotel in a completely different part of town.

Truly one of the most beautiful rooms I’ve stayed in. Minimally designed and detailed, I didn’t want to leave. The balcony suite is simply grand for a single traveler but I loved every minute of it. The bathroom and entrance way is the most photogenic. While the patio is nice, many people walk by and feels a little showy to stand out there. Staff was ok, could be a little more hospitable. Location wise, it’s not exactly the neighborhood I wanted to stay at but I knew that booking the room. The room speaks for itself.
