★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tuvimos que consultar con otro doctor para darnos cuenta que la cirugía que le hizo a mi mamá por 44mil pesos fue en vano, uso el lente y el método más económicos para operarle sus cataratas. Cirugía que se pudo haber realizado por mucho menos dinero y con un mejor método, le lastimo los dos ojos a mi mamá, uso sutura para ambos ojos y la anestesia no fue suficiente ya que durante la cirugía sentia dolor, cosa que no le importo al Dr. Tamez ya que su única respuesta era "Ya casi termino" al final de las consultas y darla de alta sabiendo que no había hecho buen trabajo y le dejo mal ubicado el lente de un ojo solo nos recomendó una persona para que le fabricara una lupa especial a mi mama
We had to consult with another doctor to realize that the surgery he did to my mother for 44 thousand pesos was in vain, he used the cheapest lens and method to operate on his cataracts. Surgery that could have been done for much less money and with a better method, I hurt both my mother's eyes, I used suture for both eyes and the anesthesia was not enough since during the surgery I felt pain, which did not matter to me. Dr. Tamez since his only answer was "I'm almost done" at the end of the consultations and to discharge him knowing that he had not done a good job and left the lens of one eye misplaced, only one person recommended us to manufacture a special magnifying glass to my mom

Ella pensaba que no era candidata a operarse los ojos porque años atrás le habían dicho que el grosor de sus córneas era muy delgado para la operación Lasik. Sin embargo, el Dr. Tamez le ofreció esta alternativa y ella se encuentra muy contenta con los resultados 6 meses después de su operación.
Dr. Tamez operated on my girlfriend with the PRK procedure. She thought she was not a candidate for eye surgery because years ago she had been told that the thickness of her corneas was too thin for the Lasik operation. However, Dr. Tamez offered her this alternative and she is very happy with the results 6 months after her operation.

From the first time I walked in for my initial consultation, I was very impressed with Doctor Tamez's professionalism and knowledge. I couldn't be happier with the results. The procedure itself is quick and painless, and the recovery was super fast, with no pain at all. The only problem I had was my eyes were very dry and just some mild irritation. If anyone is going to Monterrey Mexico and is considering getting Lasik, you should check him out; trust me, you won't be disappointed.
