We were planning to visit GDL from Washington for another medical treatment. After reading great reviews from another patient on real self and following his Facebook page. I was excited to reach out for a bichat (buccal) fat removal. However, I was disappointed that after 2 months of contacting on Facebook and emailing, I didn’t hear back. I almost gave up and booked with a another surgeon nearby but I thought to reach out again via WhatsApp and Instagram. Good news, they reach out right away and I was able to fit in my procedure during my visit. I was so happy! Fast forward, the day of my procedure I met Dr. Michel. He’s wonderful, caring and kind. He is detailed and explained expectations / outcomes. I used to work for a surgeon in the U.S and I am familiar with the routine. That said, Dr. Michel was outstanding—one of the best surgeons I have met. Of note, I am happy with my procedure and I healed so quickly. I was concerned that my right cheek was more swollen and bruised. After my one week checkup, I was reassured that my wounds were healed and I’m on track for recovery. And more importantly, my cheeks are more visibly slimmer. Yay!
