Excelente servicio, muy amables y todo muy claro, me encanto lo del video, en ninguna otra empresa me había tocado esto, y es algo genial, así queda todo registrado, el auto muy bien y prácticamente nuevo Muy recomendable,

Una vez más, fueron nuestros proveedores en la ciudad a la que visitamos, en esta ocasión, nos brindaron una camioneta, para recorrer la ciudad de Mérida, todo estuvo excelente y la atención fue 10/10.

En mi experiencia el trato y el servicio que ofrecen es muy malo, parece que les da igual si rentas o no con ellos. Te ponen muchos peros y no dan ninguna ayuda o facilidad como otras empresas al rededor.
In my experience, the treatment and service they offer is very bad, it seems that they do not care if you rent with them or not. They give you many buts and do not give any help or facilities like other companies around.

Pésimo servicio!!! Me dijeron que tenían una camioneta para 6 personas. Quedaron de pasar por nosotros al aeropuerto, cuando indiqué que éramos 4 adultos y dos niños, 2 maletas grandes y dos pequeñas. Llegaron en un coche pequeño, donde obviamente no cabíamos y tuvimos que hacer dos viajes. El señor que fue por nosotros al aeropuerto nos llevó a una oficina cutre que no era City y ahí me dijeron que en dos horas me darían el vehículo. Me lo dieron antes. Una camioneta sucia, con asientos rotos, una radio que no servía. Los de City prometen cosas que no tienen. Y no se hacen responsables. Pedí mi factura hace una semana, aún no llega. Pésimo servicio!!!
Terrible service!!! They told me they had a 6-person van. They agreed to pick us up at the airport, when I indicated that we were 4 adults and two children, 2 large and 2 small suitcases. They arrived in a small car, where we obviously couldn't fit and we had to make two trips. The man who picked us up at the airport took us to a shabby office that was not City and there they told me that in two hours they would give me the vehicle. They gave it to me before. A dirty truck, with broken seats, a radio that did not work. The City people promise things they don't have. And they are not responsible. I asked for my invoice a week ago, it still hasn't arrived. Terrible service!!!

Be prepared for ''sudden'' surprises! On April (2021) we decided on renting a car, from this specific car rental. Our inconvenience started when picking up the car. It was a total mess. We rented a volkswagen Jetta that was booked one month prior our arrival and CONFIRMED. (OUR PRIORITY WAS THE TRUNK, BECAUSE IT WAS FOR 4 LARGE LUGGAGE WHEN GOING ON THE ROAD FOR SEVERAL HOURS; so it was really uncomfortable) First you have to walk several blocks from the airport, and it’s really exhausting when having lots of luggage. When getting there, there was no Jetta, and the staff told us they had NO Jetta, but they had a Versa. Which obviously had our plans turned upside-down since there wasn't much space available inside the car. Also, have in mind that there is NO circulation form/card. No paper, no insurance, nothing. It's just basically you and the car you didn't actually booked. Its frustrating, to see this type of service being given. Basically you've been FOOLED. Im going back next month, and definitely I'm not using this rental again. TRANSLATION: ¡Prepárate para sorpresas repentinas! En abril (2021) decidimos alquilar un coche, de este alquiler de coches específico. Nuestro inconveniente empezó al recoger el coche. Fue un desastre total. Alquilamos un Volkswagen Jetta que fue reservado un mes antes de nuestra llegada y CONFIRMADO. (NUESTRA PRIORIDAD ERA EL MALETERO, PORQUE ERA PARA 4 MALETAS GRANDES CUANDO ESTAMOS EN LA CARRETERA DURANTE VARIAS HORAS, por lo que fue realmente incómodo) Primero hay que caminar varias cuadras desde el aeropuerto, y es realmente agotador tener mucho equipaje. Al llegar allí, no había Jetta, y el personal nos dijo que NO tenían Jetta, pero tenían un Versa. Lo que obviamente hizo que nuestros planes se pusieran patas arriba ya que no había mucho espacio disponible dentro del automóvil. Además, tenga en cuenta que NO hay formulario / tarjeta de circulación. Sin papel, sin seguro, nada. Básicamente, eres tú y el coche que no has reservado. Es frustrante ver que se prestan este tipo de servicios. Básicamente te han engañado. Regresaré el próximo mes, y definitivamente no usaré este alquiler nuevamente.

Awful experience / Pésima experiencia I paid in advanced to secure my car. When I got to the airport at Merida I couldn't find City Car's office anywhere, I called to the number on their website and Google and no one answered. Nobody ever contacted me and nobody was waiting for me, in fact no one at the airport even seemed to know about them. After a while I started getting calls from various people saying that they worked for City Car to give me my car, however they didn't seemed to be in contact with one another, which seemed suspicious. One of them picked me up at the airport and took me to an office close by that was NOT a City Car office. They told me City car shared my contact with them and they would give me my car. So, first off, City car shared my personal information without my consent with third parties, they never even contacted me to let me know about any change. Because of the season, there were no cars in any other company (and I had already paid a part of the rent) so I had to stay with that company. They gave me a car in which the air conditioning didn't work (Merida is really really hot), when I called to complain they changed the car for one that was far below the tier I had rented. The whole experience was awful and needless to say I won't be renting with them ever again and will share my experience with whoever is renting there. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Aparté mi renta por internet pagando una porción del total. Cuando llegué al aeropuerto de Mérida no encontré la oficina, llamé al número de teléfono en su página y nada. Nadie me contactó, nadie me estaba esperando. Después de un rato empecé a recibir llamadas de diversas personas diciendo que eran de City Car para darme mi auto, pero no estaban en contacto entre ellos, lo que me pareció sospechoso. Uno fue por mí al aeropuerto y me llevó a una oficina que NO era de City Car, me dijeron que obtuvieron mi contacto de ellos y que me darían mi auto. En primer lugar, City Car Rental compartió sin mi consentimiento mi información personal con terceros. Nunca se pusieron en contacto directo conmigo, nunca me respondieron. Por la temporada ya no había autos en ninguna otra empresa (además de que había dejado mi anticipo) por lo que tuve que rentar con la empresa que llegó por mí. Me dieron un auto al que no le servía el aire acondicionado, cuando hablé para comentarlo me lo cambiaron por un carro de menor categoría que el que había rentado. Toda la experiencia fue muy negativa y en definitiva jamás volveré a rentar con ellos.

When I arrived at the Merida airport I couldn't find the office, I called the phone number on their page and nothing. No one contacted me, no one was waiting for me. After a while I started receiving calls from various people saying that they were from City Car to give me my car, but they were not in contact with each other, which seemed suspicious to me. One picked me up at the airport and took me to an office that was NOT City Car, they told me they got my contact from them and they would give me my car. First, City Car Rental shared my personal information with third parties without my consent. They never contacted me directly, they never answered me. For the season there were no cars in any other company (in addition to the fact that I had left my advance) so I had to rent with the company that came for me. They gave me a car that did not have air conditioning, when I spoke to discuss it, they changed it for a car of a lower category than the one I had rented. The whole experience was very negative and I will definitely never rent with them again.

It was an absolute disaster. I did book it online and when I arrived to the airport i had a guy waiting for me at the door. This guy wrote to me on whatsap and was super nice, waiting with car to pick us up and take us to another location where they had office... All good until here right? So this guy was not from City rental car, somehow they got the information from city rental car and were there to scam us! It took rental car more than 1h to contact me to say that the guy picking us was not working for them (even i asked them before going with the guy!!) The solution for city rental was to apologize and told me that one of the guys working for them shared the information with other company.... They fired this person. Damn great, isn't it? I did manage to go to airport and rent with Méx, I recommend you to check Mex, more economic and definetly more reliable!
