City Express Campeche - 24028 Campeche

Bare bones, no fridge,no restuarant,hot water issues . I'm here because I was booked here if it were my choice would be gone by end of day 1

Nice hotel near the center of Campeche. Essential rooms. Breakfast a bit poor. Good for a 1-2 nights stop.

The place is really comfortable and nice, the attention it's great, quick. It's a safe place to be, and it has good views, you can even see the sea from some rooms, it's in a really good place (close to super markets and restaurants) and the breakfast was really good.

It took 70 minutes to check in and after that the room wasn't ready. There was also general confusion about the WiFi password that took 3 hours to sort out. The front desk seems understaffed and not too knowledgeable about how things work.

The city express is a well located hotel. The lady at the counter is pretty helpful and the rooms are clean and quiet.

If you are looking for budget accommodations this place will do the trick. Pros: Nice lobby Friendly and accommodating staff Clean and spacious rooms Very comfortable beds Plenty of storage for your stuff Free, fast Internet Drinking water available in the lobby Good breakfast served from 7 to 11 am and coffee/tea available all day. If you are lucky enough to have quiet guests above you, the rooms are very quiet, with barely audible street noise Good AC Not so great: No safe in the rooms as advertised No microwave/fridge/coffee maker In the room Guest above us dragging the chairs on the tile floor made a lot of noise. (Otherwise the room was very quiet) TV adjustments locked with the picture in zoom mode, so it was useless. Shower curtain about 7 inches too short, so water runs off the curtain on the bathroom floor. I would stay here again if in town but I would try to get a room on the top floor.

Good place, good hygiene, good looks. Nice option for not high prize but good place to stay

If you want to see Mexican families at play visit this location on a Saturday night. The night we went there was a roller blading contest with lots of families milling about. There are a few street vendors about for food snacks. After 7pm. There us also a performance stage check with your hotel or the tourist information office to see if anything is going on. Co vid protocols were still happening when we went. 02/22.
