Claras y Ole!! - 97203 Mérida

Yesterday we had a typical dish from Spain but unknown in the world. "Cachopo" is a huge fillet stuffed with Cabrales ham and cheese, in Claras and Olé they do it better than in many restaurants in Spain, thanks Guti !!!!

The food is very tasty and the owner is very friendly. The price is excellent for the portions and the service is very fast. It does not accept card but you can always make a transfer or pay in cash. 10/10

In the 15 years that we have been living in Mexico, it is the Spanish restaurant that we have liked the most. A few months ago some friends from the Riviera Maya recommended ClarasyOle to us and on one of our trips to Merida we ordered take-out food. It has been a long time since I had eaten something so good and of such quality, the food was excellent, homemade, made with seasoning and the owner's treatment was exceptional. It has a menu of various main dishes and tapas. The paellas seem like works of art, since Chef Guti has a particular way of decorating them, visually they already invite you to eat and once you want to repeat the tests. This time we were several friends and we decided to try a little of everything. Paella and cachopos as main dishes are abundant, with a cachopo or portion of paella for two people. First we ordered some delicious mixed croquettes, patatas bravas, Spanish omelette and a friend cheered up with the fabada! What to tell them? , which we loved and will repeat. And the best thing, the next day we order take out food for home, we will have Clarasyole for those days of nostalgia and you want to eat something with a taste of the earth. For my dad's birthday we ordered a paella for 10 people. It was spectacular, as always. The quality, the price and the taste, all 10! The shrimp croquettes, the potato omelette and the paella are my favorite dishes, they are really worth trying!
