I am traveling through Mexico with a dog overlanding from the United States, he was unwell and needed help.
Researched Google, read some reviews and went for it. Walked in, no appointment. (If using GPS roads are one way grid here, difficult driving. Suggest parking 1-3 blocks away and walk if you can)
I was greeted nicely by Veterinarian Angelica Romero Castillo. Lucky me. Through her English and my Spanish of which we each had a little (and her obvious animal experience) we sorted out his "skin conditon" like an allergy, causing eyes to give discharge and skin slightly not looking normal.
Convenient enough, a pharmacy was literally across the street to fill the prescription for him. She also had additional pills as an option in her clinic, they complimented the prescriptions she said. I bought them too. 9 days later into a 10 day series of pills and he looks and feels amazing! So happy, would go back no worries. She is very nice, and she cares about people AND animals. Thanks!
Total cost for prescriptions, office visit, and medicine purchases at the office 950 pesos. Money well spent, he is looking healthy again, priceless.
