★ ★ ★ ★ ★ El doctor Ángel (sustituto del Dr. Jorge) me atendió bien, sin embargo me diagnosticó mal, sí tenía fractura y me dijo que no. La radiografía que necesité la sacan ahí mismo, muy amable el radiólogo y de muy buena calidad, el costo por la consulta (250) y la radiografía (540), total 790 pesos. Sí tienen rayos X, pero cuidado con los diagnósticos, anexo pruebas.
 Dr. Ángel (substitute for Dr. Jorge) took good care of me, however he misdiagnosed me, he did have a fracture and he said no. The X-ray I needed was taken right there, the radiologist was very kind and of very good quality, the cost for the consultation (250) and the X-ray (540), total 790 pesos. They do have X-rays, but be careful with the diagnoses, I annex tests.

I was hospitalized for only one night (182,203.84 Pesos or $12,739.11 Canadian Dollars or $9,631.66 US Dollars). My passport was held in reserve at the Clinica till my insurance company paid the bill in full. I will let you judge if you find that this is to be acceptable or was my insurance company got gouged. Will claims like this one have an impact on travel insurance cost in the future? Is Clinica Renteria in La Penita the only place to go for medical treatment? See attached bill.
