They do a great job

They saved my dog's life, not once, but twice. Last year he got poisoned by hunting a toad. I took him to Wawao within 20 minutes and he already had seizures. The vet immediately treated him. After about 3 hours the seizures ended and after 6 hours the dog was out of danger and I could bring him home. A couple of weeks ago, a Cantil Viper that had hidden near the entrance of our house (real bad luck), bit him close to his nose, while he was trying to hunt her. Within half an hour we were at Wawao again where another vet treated him immediately and then went in search of the antidote. Less than an hour after the accident she managed to find 2 vials of antidote and after having injected them, we could only wait and hope. The vet preferred to take him home with her for the night in order to observe him and continue to treat him. The next day, despite being very swollen and with horrible wounds on the muzzle, the dog was out of danger and I was able to bring him home again. Now about 10 days after, he is 99% recovered and he's already hunting lizards. This dog means a lot to me and I'll be eternally grateful to the ladies of Wawao for saving his life twice. I wouldn't go anywhere else for any of my dogs... Thank you!

We took our dog in for a wash, they trimmed his his nails and some hair on his belly and back side as well. Service was good, people are friendly we highly recommend place if you are in flamingos / El Tigre area.

Worst service ever don’t go here with your pet they’re really unprepared unprofessional and the girl at the counter is just rude. If you come from United States and want a good worthy vet go to valle dorado vet not this one that after one bath they left my dog with a serious allergy reaction in her eyes and skin and never told me, besides that they made me pay for the droplets. Very unprofessional

We took our 12 week old puppy for a trim - body, face, legs and nails clipped. It was her first time being groomed, and the vet and groomer explained that they would take their time introducing her to the clippers, scissors, hairdryer, etc. They were gentle and very patient with her, and did their best to make it a positive experience for her. We picked her up a few hours later (the vet said that it would probably take 2-3 hours as they would let her have some time to relax if she felt stressed during the grooming), and she was happy, playful, clean and so soft and sweet smelling! The staff there are amazing people, and it's obvious that they genuinely care for their customers. I won't go anywhere else.

You can find good care for your pets in a lot of places, but the staff at Wawao truly care about the animals. Sometimes the cost is a little higher than other clinics, but it is worth every penny to have a doctor that cares about my dog as if it was her own. Her English is good, which is helpful in some situations as my Spanish could be better. I highly recommend this location.
