2009 Grupo de investigadores del Instituto Tecnológico de Massachusetts y la Escuela de Salud Pública de Harvard se enfocan a buscar el modelo ideal para la atención en diabetes.
2011 Nace Clínicas del Azúcar: Mediante desarrollo tecnológico se crea la primera empresa social en su tipo, destinada al tratamiento especializado en diabetes “todo en un solo lugar”.
2012 Abre sus puertas la primera sucursal ubicada en el municipio de Guadalupe en Nuevo León.
2013 Enero: Junto al Dr. Julio Frenck, ex-Secretario de Salud en México, se realiza inauguración oficial de la sucursal Guadalupe. Javier Lozano , fundador de Clínicas del Azúcar recibe el reconocimento TR35 “Innovador Social del Año”, elegidos por la publicación Technology Review del MIT (Instituto Tecnológico de Massachusetts)
2014 Octubre: Clínicas del Azúcar obtiene certificación Endeavor, empresa global que selecciona y apoya a emprendedores de alto impacto para que puedan escalar sus negocios. Noviembre: Abre su segunda sucursal en Santa Catarina, Nuevo León.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ No sé si soy yo que no me resigno a que así de fácil y rápido me digan que bienvenido a la diabetes o sea falso y buscan de inmediato agregarse otro cliente a su cartera.
Tuve la percepción de que desde un inicio me querían hacer cliente con su membresía .
Veré otras opciones para diagnósticos de diferentes lugares y así descartar conflictos de interés

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ En un par de ocasiones he acompañado a mi abuelita a su consulta y es demasiado incómodo, sobre todo en esta temporada de calor, tener que llevar suéter por que literalmente te congelas esperando que te atiendan. Lo peor de todo es que pides si pueden mejorar el clima y te responden que no pueden hacerlo. Pésimo servicio por parte de la sucursal.
On a couple of occasions I have accompanied my grandmother to her consultation and it is too uncomfortable, especially in this hot season, to have to wear a sweater because you literally freeze waiting for them to attend to you. The worst of all is that you ask if they can improve the climate and they tell you that they cannot. Terrible service from the branch.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tuve que acompañar a mi abuelita a una consulta que tuvo, y la verdad es que el aire acondicionado es muy fuerte, lo peor es que esto puede ocasionar una enfermedad por un cambio de clima tan brusco ya que aunque se pida que se baje el aire acondicionado la respuesta es no es posible, la verdad es que deben de tener mucho cuidado, no quiero imaginar en tiempo de frío como se sentirá.
