Great food, amazing beach, friendly staff, tons of activities available for any taste. The family suite we stayed in was well lasted out with the bathroom between the two rooms. Kids had a ton of fun body-boarding in the ocean.

Pleasant and friendly bar/dining and room staff. Luis and Albert in the main dining hall were very attentive. The land sports staff were also great esp the tennis instructors Joel and Jaime. Then Chris, Mario, and Mitch for beach volleyball. Managed to see the baby sea turtle release. Food quality could be better as I thought other Club Meds have better food vs Ixtapa. Beaches are not Caribbean blue or calm, waters are wavy all the time and no snorkeling or diving here unlike other Club Meds.

Fantastic family vacation with teenagers. All inclusive with great activities, entertainment & cuisine. Spacious with rooms spread out on a large property... never feels crowded. Professional and friendly team.

Just spent one week at Club Med Ixtapa with wife, kids, and two other families, and it was amazing all around. Perfect weather (sunny and hot every day, zero rain, and enough wind for sailing), perfect sunsets (my google foto is from there), lots of sports and activities (tennis, sailing, volleyball, great beach that is clean and wide), and the food and drinks were really good throughout. What stands out even more than all that, however, is that club med with its enthusiastic “GOs” (nothing comparable in any other hotel or resort) causes kids to mingle more with each other in the first days of the week, so by the third day, our kids were with other kids their age 100% of the time. Off their phones and tablets, they were active and playing all the time (until midnight+), and we only saw them sporadically around the resort long and frequently enough to know they were safe and having fun, but that’s all. So each one of us had a relaxing and fun time. I could go on and on about how great it was, and how nice Antonio and his team were (starting with Nathan and his food and drinks team, and Mitch with his sports and activities team). Just note that club med is all about staying active and having fun. There are options to just chill at the beach with margaritas, but so much better if you plan to be active!

A bit dated resort, but good service from room, bar, and dining staff. GO were great too especially the tennis instructors who were top notch. Food was OK, think other Club Meds have better food quality and variety. Water is wavy and not clear like Caribbean waters and not much to see for snorkling. Was there in mid May 2022, the low season, and weather was great.

Cons: Upgraded our room for a king size bed. They are just two tiny single beds put together and they are worn out and concaved. Been sleeping in one of the kids beds because my back is killing in the provided "king" bed. Pillows are absolutely horrible as well, regretting not bringing my own. Made a request for a better pillow and even offered to pay to upgrade to a better room but requests have been ignored. No beer is provided in the room fridge and they only have draft beer and low quality liquor as part of the all inclusive. Must pay for canned or bottled beer. Shows are very low budget and not worth watching. No shade in the pools and no swim up bar. Must wear a mask to approach the outdoor bars, outdoor BBQ, and many other areas that don't make any sense so always have to carry a mask on you. I thought this nonsense was done with. Only one restaurant and the buffet. Pros: buffet does have decent food. Beach is nice although kind of "muddy" and makes the water and waves muddy but overall good for pacific coast. Rooms are fairly quiet. Concrete walls between other rooms. All in all, not that impressed and wouldn't come back. Not having a proper night sleep because of horrible pillows and beds likely make the entire trip less tolerable. Front reception not at all helpful and they don't care.

Good people, good food, lovely accommodations. Thank you To so many managers, Edwardo, Nathan, Allan Chef Mauro, the many housekeeper and bartenders, waiters and waitresses for all you’ve done and all you will do. Thank you Abraham for bringing us our refreshing drinks on the beach. All the chefs who prepare our food each day wow! Thanks to all of you who clean the common areas for our pleasure. It did not go unnoticed. Blessings to each of you, Lorna Cunningham

The decor is a bit old school but that's the only flaw I can think of. The rooms are big and comfortable (bed was amazing), loved the in-room tablet (used as a phone but also for Resort Info and Entertainment). Buffets are good, plenty of options available I was specially drawn to dinners: good meat and seafood. I liked that there were plenty of activities available but if you are not keen on joining, you can enjoy a peaceful stay. Beautiful pool and private beach with amazing beds to just relax.
