We all had a great time!

We rented the Pro Line 30 for the day and the vessel was very nice indeed. However, we were left quite disappointed by the experience. We made the booking via WhatsApp and the person we spoke with was very pleasant and said English was not a problem. When we got to the dock, though, no one spoke a word of English and we were (2 women) made to feel very uncomfortable being surrounded by 4 men who kept counting the money we gave them, and speaking amongst themselves as if sizing us up for the slaughter. We had a feeling we had just paid to be butchered! The 'captain' then turned up 15 minutes late and proceeded to start the engine without even an 'hola'. We had just wanted a relaxing time, cruising and enjoying the sunset but the crew of 2 seemed to be very disappointed at this, and kept pushing us to go tubing. After an hour or so we let them take us to a beach so we could, at least, get off the boat and away from them, to go swimming a bit, as they kept pestering us to do SOMEthing! We had just wanted to relax but....okay! We had already done the dreaded tubing! After a spot of swimming we got back on the boat and were asked if we wanted to leave the beach (we figured that was what the 'captain' was asking) and said yes, thinking we could finally just cruise, for God's sakes! Lo and behold, we were whisked back to the dock! We had paid for a 5-hour cruise but the 'captain' slashed it to 3, and kept the money for 5. By then we were so fed up we just wanted to leave. A nice gentleman did drive us into town to catch an Uber back to Merida, though. Go with them if you speak Spanish and want to get stupid drunk and go tubing and all sorts. Stay away if you don't speak Spanish and just want to relax, for you will end up boring them. And they do NOT like that!

We rented a yacht that is not on the list, as we were told that it is not very common for clients to book it. It was an incredible day, the boat was an Azimut 55 (the captain, the sailors and the translator animated the party) the inflatables were beautiful and the staff that attended us was very friendly. When we got on the boat they brought us a complimentary bottle of white wine for surprise, all our stuff was loaded up and ready to go. Starting they took us to Pig Beach, a super nice area (we didn't want to stop taking pictures with the pigs because they were too beautiful), then they took us to see the pier, when we got to the place there was a sighting of dolphins and we managed to take photos and videos. For sunset we went before the place called Chelem, we also took photos and videos of the sunset (obviously from us too), it seemed that we were in Cancun because the beautiful sea. At the end of the night, we arrived at the pier and the staff were on time to greet us (they were always dancing and happy), they asked us for our point of view on the service they gave us and we told them how amazing and fun the service was. The translator was very funny as he told us various things. We totally recommend them if you want to have a good time to celebrate. We are totally happy!
