★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice public beach with some tourist shopping and lots of restaurants right on the water in the sand.
Avoid on weekends when dozens of tour buses show up and tourists flood the place like locusts.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Free and you can see them very closely. A short but very interesting place to visit. Besides it's right by Playa Linda. Can't miss it.
Only thing is that please watch for the broken chainlink fences underneath. It sliced my ankle pretty bad. ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was a nice experience. Lots of birds were nesting, and iguanas were also there. There were about 10 crocodiles, waiting for a snack. It was worth it. Great experience for children.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You can't beat the warm waters. This is a great place for families since the currents were not too strong. We arrived in morning and shore was full of debris but staff cleaned it up before day got busy. Loads of shops to look through. We ate in a delicious shop hidden between main Street and beach: breaded chicken breast, rice, salad and cheese and mushroom quesadilla with hand made tortillas, which were delicious. My picky kids loved everything.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a very interesting place to see. It has many varieties of wild life. There are wooden strokes, pink spoonbills, yellow feet strokes, turtles, crocodiles and lizards. And they all come here to have their babies, their so cute.
It is under construction due to being damage from the hurricane but still able to see everything.
Fun to see before you head to the beach ⛱️?️⛱️.
