Es la zona rural de Tuxpan y al paso observamos el manglar hasta llegar al pueblo de Tumilco.
Buen momento para desconectarse de la ciudad y adentrarse a los sonidos, vegetación y fauna del mangle.
Al llegar al lugar es un verdadero comedor campestre, con mobiliario de madera, una choza de palma y en medio de una zona arbolada.
La comida muy casera, iniciando con el café de olla o atole de arroz con leche.
Aquí cocinan comida huasteca y por eso pedimos estrujadas, bocoles, taquitos jornaleros y cecina, todo acompañado de frijoles de la olla.
La atención es muy cálida, es la familia quien atiende el negocio.
Les recomiendo hacer reservación, así se vuelve más exclusivo y pueden adelantar su comida, aunque la verdad el tiempo ahí no pesa.
 Traditional Huasteca food in the countryside
It is the rural area of Tuxpan and as we go we observe the mangrove until we reach the town of Tumilco.
Good time to disconnect from the city and get into the sounds, vegetation and fauna of the mangrove.
Upon arrival at the place, it is a true country dining room, with wooden furniture, a palm hut and in the middle of a wooded area.
The food is very homemade, starting with pot coffee or rice pudding atole.
Here they cook Huasteca food and that's why we order crushed, bocoles, day laborer taquitos and cecina, all accompanied by beans from the pot.
The attention is very warm, it is the family who takes care of the business.
I recommend making a reservation, so it becomes more exclusive and you can bring your food forward, although the truth is that time doesn't matter there.
