Alguna vez miré los videos del "Gourmand" y me pareció ridículo pensar en comidas caras y boutiques de carne como sinónimo de ser "refinado". Sin embargo y lo admito, un platillo que "sabe" rico no es por un asunto de clase o estilo, solo de autenticidad. A saber:
En la ciudad de México hay "comedores populares," subsidiados"por el "Gobierno que venden una comida o desayuno por la cantidad de 11 pesos. La idea es buena, pero la comida en algunos de ellos es francamente " horrible". En una falta de respeto a los" consumidores" y la comida, la existencia de dichos lugares. Ustedes pensaran que una dieta con ese precio no puede ser extraordinaria y tal vez estarán en lo correcto. Pero si lo piensan bien las comidas están subsidiadas por recursos públicos, luego entonces no debería ser tan simples ni tampoco resultar un atentado al paladar. Ser pobre te obliga a comer de todo. Lo sé de cierto. Sin embargo debería existir un poco de respeto por los comensales que acuden a dichos expendios de comida. Si los flamantes funcionarios que se llenan la boca "ensalzando" el trabajo y circunstancia del beneficio a la población con su comida barata, acudieran de vez en cuando a degustar en los comedores para verificar trabajo y calidad de cada uno, les aseguro que en algunos de ellos jamás regresarían. Una cosa es dar limosna y otra muy diferente alimentar (verdaderamente) a la población que mas lo necesita...
