En el año de 1979 da iniciada la empacadora de San Antonio considerando a la familia López los dueños del negocio, ubicado anteriormente en calle Guinea 805, en la colonia Lagos de Oriente.
Abre operaciones inicialmente con 5 trabajadores, los cuales elaboran únicamente salchicha de una forma manual y con maquinaria rudimentaria.
A través de los años, la empresa ha evolucionado a ser reconocida por ofrecer una amplia gama de embutidos de excelente calidad, sabor y con los estándares de higiene y orientación a la salud que el consumidor actual demanda.
Ahora, 40 años después de su incorporación, San Antonio es una marca líder en el mercado con presencia a nivel nacional.
