Very authentic! Family run business! A nice surprise in San Cristobal

Find somewhere else to eat. I can only imagine that the folks that enjoy this food have never had Thai food elsewhere. You’ll find better service and food just about everywhere else. First, when I went, I was told there were no tables and to eat there is by reservation only. Um Okay, fine, I ordered the food to go. The to-go cup leaked everywhere despite the fact that they used actual tape to tape the lid on. When I got home, I saw that they placed the pad Thai noodles in a plastic bag. I kid you not. I've been eating in San Cris for some time, and it's the first time I've seen this. Second, I can see how people are complaining of food poisoning because the chicken pad Thai I received tasted heavily like shrimp. Like they definitely cook the food in the same pan. This is so dangerous for people with food allergies as well. After tasting the food, I realize that waiting outside was absolutely not worth it. The entire thing tasted so bland and weird and not like chicken pad Thai. I didn't even notice any chicken until I looked closer they practically mince the chicken, lol, which is definitely not Thai style where you get healthy chunks of chicken. Anyways for 130.00 pesos, you can find much better food in San Cris, even right in the same vicinity.

I went back to this place and the lack of compassion and empathy was disgusting. They gave me a dish with so much hot pepper (I didn't ask for pepper which I don't eat) My ears and throat and stomach went haywire. The owner told me to just drink water and they added more coconut milk. To relieved the hot taste!! Not only did it not alleviate the heat in my mouth..... They wouldn't take the time to redo the dish like most restaurants of good standing. I told them i will not pay for this dish after they had the nerve to add it' to the bill. I got food poisoned before from the fish and foolishly I gave this place a second chance and they are undeserving of any merit ?. RUN ?‍♀️ to someplace better to eat.

Severely unbalanced flavor profiles. Shortcut recipes using premade pastes and such. This is Thai food that you can make by buying some packets. Very friendly workers and a cozy three table spot, but this is not well done Thai food. Maybe it is well done Thai-style food for San Cristobal given the lack of Thai products in the area, which would be a reasonable complexity standing in the way of the chefs skills, but realize what you are getting into here. This is for people hankering for Thai-style food served by wonderful people in a cool spot. Not cheap but big portions. Rotating menu.

It was soooo good ??? I had the chicken pad thai with the Thai ice tea and it was a great choice they give you a lot of food for the price. I'll totally go back and support

This was my first trying a different kitchen than the mexican one. I felt like eating something warm so I ordered the shrimps. It also had no other information. Then I got summer rolls and I was very suprised but I gave it a try. They tasted like they came straight from the fridge, cold and with a lot of mint.

Authentic rich Thai taste! I am happy to get to know this place. Definitely I will come back.

We've been following "Comida Thai" as it has moved around the around the city for years and make it our first stop when we get to SCLC. This location may be the smallest space yet (3 tables) but maybe this reflects life in the time of pandemic- take out may be the way for restaurants to go for awhile. We arrived early for lunch and were able to secure a table inside without waiting. We enjoyed watching the dance that goes on to prepare the food in a very limited cooking space. Portions are more than sufficient; we enjoyed every bit of the green curry and took out the remaining Pad Thai in a plastic bag, at our request. I saw in one of the reviews that this practice disturbed a diner: I appreciate cutting down on single use to-go packaging. At home we religiously bring containers for left over food, a more challenging habit when traveling. But I digress: the food is fresh and wonderful; the same wait staff/assistants stick with the owner over the years so service attentive, and it's a really sweet experience.
