I FOUND A PELON TABICON HOUSE WITH A METALLIC DOOR LIKE A GAS STATION BATHROOM AND AFTER LOOKING OUT AND ASKING THAT "WHERE THE AIRPLANES PASS" HE TOLD ME THAT THERE THEY CHECKED ONE THE TICKET. .. THERE WAS NO WAITING ROOM, IT WAS AN AUTHENTIC HOUSE AND THERE WAS A BENCH OUTSIDE UNDER THE RAY OF THE SUN AND MAKING A DEMONIAL HEAT, AT HALF HOUR HE LEFT TO TELL ME THAT THE PLANE THAT WOULD TAKE ME TO DF THEN WAS COMING GOOD ... Access is rare but in general the airport is very good

Very small airport, hard to miss here. Only Aeromar takes you to Terminal 2 of the International Airport of Mexico City and Aerotucan takes you to Oaxaca. Very safe because located within a military zone, with access control. Care if you come from Ixtepec or Ixtaltepec, you can not come by the north route, because it is reserved for the military. The only access is by the South route. You have to go to the Juchitán cruise and then to Tehuantepec, you will see a sign for Ixtepec Airport. There is free parking and safe taxi.

It is only one commercial airline that arrives, and at the moment I suppose that due to the Covid19 pandemic, it is a single morning flight that arrives from CDMX and the same plane minutes later, it is the return flight, either at noon or 2 p.m. The airport does not have cafeteria services or any snack machine and the worst of it all is that both the restaurant service and taxi transport, which did not renew their contract, are absent, so take precautions.
