I do enjoy breakfast here!! The French toast was great!! I always enjoy a good old fashioned BLT from here as well. A very good way to start off the day on the island.

Amazing food, coffee, juice, and a great atmosphere with very friendly staff! We ate here multiple times during our trip and it was delicious every time.

One of the best meals we had while visiting Cancun. There were 7 people in our party. The food was delicious and the portions were large. The employees were very friendly and the prices great. We will definitely stop by here again next time we visit Isla Mujeres.

Ordered chicken with poblano cream sauce and flank steak. Chicken was moist, sauce was crazy good. Flank steak (arrachera) was so tender you could cut it with a fork. A plastic fork. Like butter. Add 2 mixed drinks and a soda and dinner was less than $50 US (904 pesos). Good service too.

The place was nearly empty when we got there which made us hesitate but we still decided to give it a try. Sadly the food we had was not good. The best we had was just okay. They added 12% tips in the end which really was too much so we just left money there for what we ate and stood up to go but the waiter stopped us and started a discussion about having to pay the kitchen for their work but we tried to explain that the tips are not mandatory to be paid so he was like "If you're not going to give tips, leave!". Really rude service.

To Lourdes, Roberto, Jeronimo and the chefs at Compadre’s we say “Bravo “! Thank you for the freshest fish and the fresh squeezed lime juice margaritas! If you love whole fried fish, I had the grouper and my husband had the snapper. Both were superbly prepared. If you fancy a filet, definitely try the shrimp stuffed filet topped with cheese. But my absolute favorite was the whole fish, grilled and splayed Tikin Xic style, which is a Yucatán specialty. Heavenly. Oh, and if you can catch the fried lobster tacos as a lunch special, don’t pass them up! They’ll make you cry they’re so tender and fresh. This is an Hidalgo gem. I give it 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Their sopa azteca and a mexican pizza were phenomenal and hard to forget, it was a great combination of local flavors. We also had some incredible service by our waiter that was even kind enough to give us very useful information about the island and its history with tropical storms and hurricanes and how things are handled during storm seasons.

The owner/waiter seemed more interested in selling us most expensive items on the menu than the authentic mexican dishes we were interested in. Once we placed the order for food, his behaviour and interest in serving us food completely changed. After serving 3 small Tacos ($239) and beer for my wife, my order for Enchiladas was a no show. After waiting for 15 minutes, and after my wife had already finished her lunch, i had to call another waiter to find out about my order. It finally showed up. And finally, they added 12% service charge to the bill on top of about $580 peso lunch bill, to make sure they get the tip for such shoddy and rude service. Not a very pleasant experience. Will not recommend this place if you are looking for friendly service.
